Source Music (Hangul: 쏘스뮤직), is a South Korean record label and agency founded in 2009 by So Sung-jin, a music producer who previously worked in SM Entertainment by managing boy group SHINHWA and contributing in producing girl groups Girls' Generation and f(x).

It was acquired by HYBE in July 2019, becoming a part of "HYBE Labels".[1] The agency currently manages girl group LE SSERAFIM.

History[]

In July 2019, Source Music was acquired by Big Hit Entertainment (now known as HYBE), making the company a subsidiary.

On May 18, 2021, Source Music announced the termination of GFRIEND's contract with the agency. The group disbanded four days later.[2][3]

On March 14, 2022, it was comfirmed that ex-IZ*ONE members Miyawaki Sakura and Kim Chae-won joined Source Music and will debut in their upcoming girl group in May.[4][5] On March 28, the group name was revealed as LE SSERAFIM. They debuted on May 2, 2022 with their first mini album FEARLESS.

It was announced on July 20, 2022 that Source Music had terminated their exclusive contract with Kim Garam following a school bullying controversy, therefore confirming her departure from LE SSERAFIM.[6]
